Privacy Policy & Affiliate Disclosure

Cast Closetsis an independent website that showcases clothing and accessories inspired by film and television characters. We do not sell, ship, or handle returns for any product. Every purchase happens on a partner retailer's own website, under that retailer's terms and privacy policy.

Links to partner stores on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This commission is how the site is funded.

Prices and availability shown here are for reference only and can change at any time. The price displayed at the retailer's checkout is the one that applies. Being an affiliate does not influence which items we feature.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we never collect payment details — no card, bank, or billing information ever reaches this site.

The data we do process falls into three groups:

• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you provide, and forward them to our own inbox so we can reply. We use them for nothing else.
• Usage analytics. Pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and the site or search engine that referred you.
• Outbound link activity. When you click through to a partner store, we record that a click happened and which offer it was, so we can see which items are useful. This record is not tied to your identity.

Nothing that measures you runs until you allow it. The first time you arrive, a bar at the bottom asks; until you answer, and if you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all — not blocked after loading, simply never fetched.

Your answer is stored in your browser under cc_consent. We deliberately don't use a cookie for it: a cookie would be sent to our server on every request, and recording “no tracking please” shouldn't itself be tracking.

If you accept, one service runs: Google Analytics 4 (G-1SYX8QP0P1), which measures how many people visit, which pages they open and which store links they click. It sets cookies in your browser. Data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy, which includes transfers to the United States. Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off.

We use this only to understand what works on the site. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or retargeting.

This site previously used Microsoft Clarity, which recorded session replays of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks. It has been removed entirely.

You can withdraw or give consent at any time, and it takes effect immediately — withdrawing is as easy as giving it.

You can also block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on to stop Google Analytics across every site you visit.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR applies and we rely on two bases:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics. This is the only basis for anything that measures you, which is why nothing loads until you agree.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for keeping the site available and secure — server logs, and the rate limits that stop one address flooding the site. Without these it can't stay online.

When you write through the contact form or sign up to the newsletter, we process what you send in order to reply or to send what you asked for. Newsletter signup is confirmed by email and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was lawful before. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in the United States, depending on your state you may have the right to know what we hold, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

To exercise any of these, write to us at contact@castclosets.com or through the contact form. We answer within 30 days and we will not treat you differently for asking.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention periods of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. The site is served over HTTPS.

If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
